Isabella&Sebastian move on in new song “Jellyfruit”

Date:

Composed of Isabella DeFir and Sebastian Stephens, the Memphis pop duo of Isabella&Sebastian are no strangers to the world of music. Starting their musical careers at a young age, Isabella&Sebastian are known for crafting compelling narratives through their retro-inspired music. Their new song, “Jellyfruit,” is about finally letting go.

“Jellyfruit” is about starting anew. Through strong bass and powerful piano, Isabella&Sebastian reflect on past pain from relationships and hope to move forward to better days. The chorus sings, “Can’t ever reach your center / So I think I’ll just surrender / Or I’ll keep trying till you’re gentler / But if I’m not worthy of your time / Then I can’t love you better,” showing the inevitable end of this relationship and the first step in moving on.
