Zach Hood announces debut album ‘Whispering Pines’

Rising singer-songwriter Zach Hood has announced his debut album, Whispering Pines, scheduled to be released on Nov. 15 through Arista Records. Known for his unique blend of pop, indie and alternative, Hood continues to explore themes of love, heartbreak and personal growth, drawing listeners in with his relatable and emotionally driven lyrics.

In anticipation of the album, Hood has released several singles, including Fireflies & Southern Weather” and “Weatherman,” along with a recent collaboration with ROSIE titled Happy Ever After,” which explores the complexities of post-breakup emotions.

“Weatherman” has quickly gained popularity, amassing over 12 million streams on Spotify as of Oct. 15, 2024, marking a significant moment in Hood’s bright career.

Hood’s journey began in Daphne, Alabama, where he first shared his music on social media, building a dedicated fanbase that led to his signing with Arista Records. At 23, he has already made a name for himself, with his debut EP BLOSSOM (2022), showcasing hit singles like “when she was mine,” “never knew a heart could break itself” and “lonely isn’t the word for this.” With Whispering Pines, Hood continues captivating audiences, solidifying his place as a promising new voice in the music industry.
