The National to release live album ‘Rome’ in December

The National have announced their new live album titled Rome, set to be released on Friday, Dec. 13, through 4AD. This album will feature live versions of fan favorites like “I Need My Girl,” “Lemonworld,” “The Geese of Beverly Road” and “Lit Up.”

Recorded without overdubs on June 3 at the Cavea in Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome, the 21-track digital and double vinyl LP set has been mixed by longtime collaborator Peter Katis.

Members of The National’s Cherry Tree community Instagram will have a limited-time opportunity to purchase an exclusive 3xLP set, featuring five additional songs to complete a full 26-song setlist. This special edition will be pressed on tri-colored vinyl, paying homage to the Italian flag.
