Mary J. Blige, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and R&B, has announced her upcoming album Gratitude, set for release on Nov. 15 through 300 Entertainment and Mary Jane Productions. This marks Blige’s 15th studio album, arriving two years after her Grammy-nominated LP Good Morning Gorgeous (2022).
Blige announced the news on Monday, Sept. 23, during an appearance on the SHERRI show, hosted by actress, comedian and co-host of The View Sherri Shepherd. She explained that the album’s title reflects her current mindset, “It’s called Gratitude because that’s where I am.”
The 53-year-old icon also expressed her appreciation for her fans in an Instagram post: “When it’s all said and done, it’s never all said and done, I owe my fans a gratitude I can’t put into words, so I put it into a show.”
Blige’s For My Fans Tour, which will begin in January 2025, is available for artist pre-sale starting this Thursday, Sept. 26 at 11 p.m. ET. The tour will include support from Mario and Ne-Yo, with official dates to be announced soon. Fans can sign up for more information and access to tickets here.
