GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Jennifer Hudson is embracing the holiday spirit early with the announcement of her debut holiday album, The Gift of Love, her Interscope debut. The album, set to release on Oct. 18 via Interscope, marks Hudson’s first-ever holiday record.
The Gift of Love will feature your beloved seasonal classics such as “O Holy Night,” “Winter Wonderland” and “Auld Lang Syne”, as well as original songs to spread the festive cheer. Notably, Hudson will collaborate with The Joy on “Carol of the Bells” and team up with rapper Common on the original track “Almost Christmas”. OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder served as the album’s executive producer, producing multiple tracks. The album also includes production from prominent music industry figures, including producers David Foster, Greg Phillinganes, Kirk Franklin, James Poyser, Fede Vindver and Peer Åström, along with co-writers including Michael Pollack and J Kash.
