After revealing the tracklist for his upcoming third album, Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X), JHAYCO released “Grecia” on Aug. 30. In the upbeat reggaeton single, JHAYCO gives us yet another intimate song with the beats we know and love while creating the experience of listening to music in the middle of a racetrack.
The song begins with a rush, literally, as we hear a car drifting. The Puerto-Rican artist captivates listeners with a classic trap beat as they hear echoes, cars accelerating, and even a cha-ching sound in the background. Halfway through, JHAYCO adds a new pulsating, reggaeton beat to tie it together.
With references to cars and other luxuries, JHAYCO describes how his beautiful woman is worth it as he raps “Baby, tú eres cara, por eso eres un lío / A veces soy medio loco, pero soy querido.” The witty lyrics and smooth production of “Grecia” promise a new album with innovative sounds and soon-to-be club hits from the reggeatonero that fans will be racing to hear.
JHAYCO released “Grecia” after revealing the 29-song tracklist for Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X) coming out this Friday, Sept. 6. In his three-part album, “Grecia” will be the second song in the first phase and is the ninth single released so far. Le Clique: Vida Rockstar (X) will feature over ten other artists and release three years after JHAYCO’s sophomore album Timelezz.
