20-year-old Canadian singer-songwriter Alex Sampson from Atikokan, Ontario went on the 19th season of America’s Got Talent this year with his original song “Pretty Baby,” making it into the live shows. Now, Sampson is continuing his road of excitement with his sophomore EP, Hopeless Romantic.
On his Instagram, Sampson said the release date, tracklist, merch and more will be available in the coming weeks, but stated that the EP will be available to listen to within the next two months. On his post, he wrote:
“I’m obsessed with music. The way it tells stories, the way it makes us feel, the way it influences so much in our everyday lives. Music is subjective but we can all agree that as a whole it is such a beautiful thing.”
In addition to his upcoming EP, Sampson will be playing a show at the Moroccan Lounge in Los Angeles California with Zach Gordon and Nour Khodr next Thursday, Aug. 29. You can purchase your tickets with Ticketmaster here.
Sampson recently released his single “If You Were My Girl” on Aug. 2 after performing it on the America’s Got Talent stage.
