Chris Lanzon to release fourth EP ‘Angel Litany’ on Sept. 12

Date:

Australian pop artist Chris Lanzon has announced that his fourth EP, Angel Litany, will be released on Sept. 12, featuring six tracks.

Earlier this year, Lanzon shared singles “Angel Litany,” “Lilo,” and “Technicolo(u)r.” His latest single, “Towers,” released on Aug. 9, explores the human tendency to avoid discomfort by constantly moving forward in search of an elusive “better” place, rather than being present and confronting the past.

Lanzon, known for creating music that resonates with deep emotions—from intimate highs to universally relatable lows—has showcased his emotional vulnerability and introspective lyricism throughout his career. The 23-year-old artist previously chronicled his journey of self-discovery on past EPs, including Far From Perfect (2021), Melancholy (2020), and Dark Side (2023).

In Angel Litany, Lanzon continues to explore themes of love and pain, as well as the coexistence of closeness and distance. While the previously released tracks remain devoted to the idea of devotion, “Towers” introduces a contrasting perspective, representing the antagonist — avoidance and emotional distance. According to Lanzon, this duality is a central theme throughout the EP.

Lanzon recently completed an Australia tour, The Suddenly Okay Tour, in support of singer-songwriter Blake Rose.

Angel Litany Tracklist:
