Joe & The Anchor Releases “Nothing Without You” From Debut Album ‘Coming of Age’

Date:

Swedish indie pop band Joe & The Anchor released their latest single, “Nothing Without You”, on June 28. The band, consisting of five childhood friends, delivers energetic guitar-driven tracks that feature strong melodies and a distinct sound. Following the success of debut EP Antidote in 2019 and follow-up EP Blue in 2021, Joe & The Anchor are getting ready for their first complete LP later this year.

“Nothing Without You” is a bittersweet, emotionally touching love song featuring heartfelt vocals and warm guitars. The track, inspired by indie music from the 1990s and early 2000s, focuses on themes of unrequited love.

Along with the track, Joe & The Anchor released the song’s music video. Beginning in black and white, the video erupts into color for the final minute. The band said this video reflects their joy of playing together, and highlights their love of making music.

Joe & The Anchor’s first full album, Coming of Age, will be released September 20 digitally.
