LAUREL Releases “Coming Back for More”, Part of New Album ‘PALPITATIONS’

Date:

British-born, Los Angeles-based songwriter LAUREL released “Coming Back for More” on June 14, part of her recently released album, PALPITATIONS. The album features 11 songs, covering life’s highs and lows, filled with tension and ecstasy.

About her newest album, LAUREL said:

“This album is adrenaline-filled – everything is felt hard. Palpitations, in the body, aren’t usually a sign of anything really bad – they’re usually emotionally driven. I loved the idea that something can feel so strong that it will make your heart skip a beat.”

The album received glowing reviews from several publications. Notable magazine FLAUNT said “[PALPITATIONS is] a testament to LAUREL’s masterful ownership of her craft”, and CLASH said “As ever, Laurel’s lyricism comes straight from the heart”.

In “Coming Back for More”, LAUREL explores the feelings around meeting someone for the first time and instantly becoming addicted to them. The track’s groovy percussion and lightweight lyricism create an airy pop fantasy that will make listeners everywhere want to hear the rest of the album.

LAUREL begins her UK and EU headline tour on Oct. 20 at G2 in Glasgow. The tour runs through Oct. 29. Tickets can be found on LAUREL’s website.
