Nicko Flash Mourns The End Of A Relationship In New Song “Why Even Start”

Date:

Nicko Flash is rising in the world of indie, alternative pop, mixed with r&b sounds. His latest song “Why Even Start” is a continuation of his unique sound and style. The track is his first release of 2024, and follows the release of “Wait For You”.

“Why Even Start” is a reflection on a superficial relationship. Through steady percussion and echoey vocals, Nicko Flash realizes he fell out of love with his partner as he sings “I say this love don’t mean a thing”. He acknowledges how the relationship has changed over time, but realizes that it is better if they go their separate ways.

The subtle drumming, paired with the mellow vocal delivery, allows the raw emotion of his lyrics to take the stage. “I’m so hard to love / cuz I got nothing left / on the inside” he sings, recognizing he could be the reason for the relationship’s demise.
