Ray Lamontagne Announces New Album ‘Long Way Home’ + Tour

Date:

Singer + songwriter Ray Lamontagne is heading back on tour!

The “You Are The Best Thing” singer has announced a nine-date headlining tour beginning September 17 in El Paso, TX with stops in Dallas, Austin, Chattanooga, TN, and more. The short run concludes in Orlando, FL and he’s bringing Americana duo The Secret Sisters along for the ride. General sale begins this Friday, June 7 at 10am local time and be sure to check out raylamontagne.com/tour for more information.

But that isn’t the only chance you have to catch the singer. Additionally, the rootsy songsmith is co-headlining a 17-date fall tour with Gregory Alan Isakov beginning September 4 in Bonner, MT. The Secret Sisters are also joining that route. For a full list of dates, check out Ray’s website or gregoryalanisakov.com.

The tour announcement couples with Lamontagne’s the announcement of his ninth studio album, Long Way Home, coming August 16 via Liula Records. This marks his first release since Monovision in 2020, and it pays homage to the journey he has been on, and everything he has left to see up ahead. He’s recruited Floating Action founder Seth Kauffman to serve as a producer for this assemblage, who has worked with the likes of Lana Del Rey, Angel Olsen, Lissie and more, and it isn’t the first time he’s worked with the singer.

“Step Into Your Power” serves as the forthcoming album’s first lead single that came out today (June 5) and he worked in harmony with his son Tobias for the music video.

We hope to catch you at a show!
