The Script announce fourth studio album ‘Satellites’ out Aug. 16

Irish rock band The Script took to social media yesterday to announce details about their seventh studio album, Satellites, set for release on Aug. 16.

Alongside this announcement, the band released their new single “Both Ways,” their first single since the death of lead guitarist and backing vocalist Mark Sheehan in April 2023. The hooded silhouette on the album cover represents Sheehan. Reminiscent of Bruno Mars’s “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Both Ways” is a high-energy track that proves that there is life after darkness.

The Script also announced their Autumn UK & European Headline Arena Tour this summer, starting on Aug. 12 show in Nashville, Tennessee.

Preorder Satellites now.

“It’ll never be the same Script,” lead singer Danny O’Donoghue said. “We’re just trying to get on and do what it is that we all feel is the next right thing to do and that’s to keep making more great music.”
