At the tender age of 14, Shanice showcased her talent on the German version of the globally renowned television show, The Voice Kids, where she emerged as the runner-up in a fierce competition featuring over 2,000 gifted singers.
Following her high school journey, Shanice embarked on a new chapter in Surrey, England, where she gained admission to the prestigious performing arts boarding school, Hurtwood House, on a full scholarship. This scholarship was awarded to her among numerous other highly qualified candidates. Hurtwood House stands as one of the most exclusive private performing arts institutions worldwide, boasting a distinguished alumni roster that includes luminaries like Emily Blunt and Hans Zimmer. During her time at Hurtwood House, Shanice delved deep into the realms of music and performance, all the while honing her skills as a songwriter and recording artist.
Upon completing her studies at Hurtwood House, Shanice took her passion for music to the next level by pursuing a degree in Pop Music at Leeds Conservatoire. It was here that she crossed paths with Mark Feist, a renowned producer with credits including Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, and more. Mark Feist, also the Head of Hitmakers Entertainment Label, recognized Shanice’s exceptional talent and signed her immediately upon her graduation.
