“Making Me Mad” by JEEN isn’t making us mad at all

Date:

Her knew song “Making Me Mad,” JEEN responds to her perspective on current news and to feeling grinded down. Grungy and direct, the song rocks-out and reels-in honest rumination, with lyrics like “And I know your faith is so strong and almost made you blind”.

The alt-rock artist explores the flow of anger and the ache for the control. JEEN confronts this anguish and exasperation with her experience intaking news in the chorus with “You don’t have to tell me / Cause I thought it by myself / If I was younger / I’d try harder / But you’re making me mad”. The steady percussive presence back her building vocals, and electric guitar riffs dig up her indignation and fix it to the forefront, just in creation for her to remind us “Now I just don’t care”.
