He’s the son of Kenny Phillips, an esteemed music producer who raised Kasey in an environment full of music. By the time he was 10, Kasey Phillips had already produced his first studio track and was well on his way toward becoming the visionary entrepreneur and creative he is today. After years spent uplifting Caribbean and Soca artists, Phillips is now based in LA and kicking off his entrance into the mainstream market with an explosive new project alongside the one and only Ciara.
Phillips is a producer on Ciara’s newly released EP Ci Ci. He worked with a pantheon of artists including Big Freedia, Lil Baby, and Chris Brown to create the monumental EP. Phillips produced the hit track “How We Roll” ft. Chris Brown which made an impressive debut at #9 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Songs chart. Characterized by effervescent, smooth as butter sonics, Kasey Phillips is leaving an unforgettable footprint on the urban music scene with his work on Ci Ci.
