Multi-talented Korean-American artist, Eric Nam has unveiled his latest single titled “Don’t Leave Yet,” accessible for streaming across all digital platforms through The Orchard. The song, penned by Eric Nam, Rabbit (Jason Yik Nam Wu), Boy Matthews, and Christina Galligan, is now available for listening.
In conjunction with the release of the new single, Eric Nam has also premiered the music video for “Don’t Leave Yet,” a project in which he exhibited his multifaceted skills by contributing to the screenplay and creative direction. Collaborating with the creative team 37th Degree (known for working with BTS and NewJeans) and the acclaimed choreographer Kyle Hanagami (who has worked with BLACKPINK, CNCO, and Justin Bieber), the video unfolds at an opulent dinner party with sumptuous delicacies and glamorous attendees, while Eric himself seems detached from the festivities.
Reflecting on the track, Eric Nam expressed, “”Don’t Leave Yet” is my take on a dance song. I wanted to flip the typical dance song on its head and thought about those situations where you or your friend don’t want to go home and stay out dancing instead. Maybe you want to get your mind off things in your life, and this song is saying – we can just dance it all out and stay here as long as you’d like. I’d like to think it’s my version of an uplifting ‘I’m there for you’ kind of moment, but in a fun dance song.”
The release of “Don’t Leave Yet” comes in the wake of Eric’s previous lead single, “House on a Hill,” the titular piece from his forthcoming album. In a recent collaboration, Em Beihold joined Eric Nam for a special version of “House on a Hill,” which garnered commendation upon its original release and was featured on Rolling Stone’s compilation of “Songs You Need To Know.” The anticipation builds as Eric’s upcoming album, House on a Hill, is slated for launch on September 8th. This album will showcase collaborations with UK-based artists HONNE and Oh Wonder, and the long-standing collaborator and producer Rabitt will oversee its musical direction.

Looking ahead to the autumn, Eric is preparing for his extensive House on a Hill World Tour, encompassing more than 80 shows spanning North America, Latin America, the UK, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
