Shiragirl Empowes Us With New Song “Rights Back Right Now”

Date:

Pop punk all female band Shiragirl are back and ready to take our “Rights Back Right Now” with this empowering new song release. Released on June 30th, following the one year anniversary on June 24th marking the overturn of Roe v. Wade, the landmark U.S Supreme Court decision protecting women and our reproductive rights.

Front-woman Shira Yevin not only sings but also plays guitar in Shiragirl as well as runs the Gritty in Pink Collective that inspires to empower women in entertainment and beyond. “Rights Back Right Now” is the first single since the highly popular “Antisocial Media” and was highly anticipated by fans worldwide. In June 2022, just one day after the Roe v. Wade overturn Shiragirl and the Gritty In Pink team joined together in downtown Los Angeles and created the “Rock For Abortion Rights” a flatbed truck concert rally that featured a surprise performance by Fat Mike. And one year later, Shiragirl has stayed true to herself and what is close to her by protecting and advocating for women’s right in both her music and community.
