Dermot Kennedy Releases New Single “Don’t Forget Me”

World renowned Irish singer songwriter Dermot Kennedy has released a new single titled “Don’t Forget Me.” Co written by Kennedy and Steve Mac this beautifully written song shows Kennedys vocal range, and authenticity which he is known for. The new single came in combo with the release of a video of his live performance in Las Vegas on his current North American tour.

Following the release of “Wont Back Down” a lead track taken from the upcoming Fast X movie, the 10th release from the infamous film franchise. The song features rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again and country musician Bailey Zimmerman, sitting on the official movie soundtrack alongside J Balvin, Kodak Black, Skrillex, YG and Ty Dolla $ign.

Dermot’s chart topping album Sonder includes hits “Something to Someone,” “Kiss Me,” and “Innocence and Sadness which are equally known for Kennedy’s transparency and raw emotion. This track is no different, and is sure to connect fans all across the globe. As you listen to “Don’t Forget Me” you will be taken on a ride of love, heartbreak, and not wanting to forget the past no matter how hard that may be. Paired with the warm harmonies of backup singers, and the sweet sounds of a piano Kennedy just keeps getting better with each release.

Following his biggest EU/UK tour including a sold out show at London’s O2 Arena. Dermot continues on his journey across North American for his Sonder Tour with a huge show announced for June 14th in Madison Square Garden, and has released tour dates up until October 2023 .
