Train rolls through Dallas on their AM Gold tour

Date:

Fresh off dropping their 11th studio album AM Gold this spring, Train hit the road to promote their new material on tour – they made a stop in Dallas on Wednesday last week. Supported by Jewel and Blues Traveler, Train gave a performance filled with nostalgic hits and recent tunes for new and old fans alike. The blazing Texas heat didn’t stop a large crowd from packing into the Dos Equis Pavilion for a high energy evening. Lead singer Patrick Monahan kept the crowd engaged, devoting an entire song to catching lucky fans’ cell phones from the crowd to snap selfies. Between t-shirt tosses, confetti canons, large inflatable balloons, and an incredible light show from production, the night turned out to be quite the spectacle. Their impressive 20 song line-up sounded fantastic from start to finish, but hit a high with their finale, “Drops of Jupiter” which celebrated its 21st anniversary this year.
