KILLBOY embraces being the “Loser” on new single

Date:

A couple months ago, KILLBOY released “DADDY ISSUES,” which was her first official single with Atlantic Records.  Moody, sassy, and unapologetic, the single explored KILLBOY’s urge to seek closure with her dad through various relationships.  It spoke to her proficiency as an artist, her years of singing, writing, producing, and engineering effectively coming through and making a big impression for such an important release.  Following up the single before her new EP arrives this summer, KILLBOY is giving us the equally impressive “LOSER.”

Fans may remember “LOSER” from jxdn’s previous Tell Me About Tomorrow tour, as KILLBOY performed the track as part of her opening set.  Its punk rock attitude is hard to forget, giving us feisty riffs, bold melodies, and an electric energy that just won’t quit.  KILLBOY’s commanding vocals round out the track, as she channels her frustrations into lyrics like “I’m just a loser / Nobody loves me / Nobody understands.”  You can check it out below.

Telling us more about her vision as an artist, KILLBOY shares,

“I’m just going to keep doing what I enjoy.  That’s what being KILLBOY is all about.  I love the music I’m making, and I hope it gives people the freedom to do whatever the fuck they want at all times.”

KILLBOY will also be supporting Sueco on the It Was Fun While It Lasted tour, starting this September.  You can find tickets here.

You can listen to “LOSER” on platforms like Spotify, SoundCloud, and Apple Music.
