Fleet Foxes announce 2022 Shore tour

Date:

2020’s Shore from revered indie-folk legends Fleet Foxes was one of the greatest salves that the pandemic brought us. It’s hard to believe that was nearly two years ago that Robin Pecknold and co. dropped their fourth album on a whim — personally, it’s weird to think back to that era of pandemic life where vaccines were just around the corner. Shore was a guiding light for many through that time; I remember turning it on and getting lost in the wash of tracks like “Sunblind” and “Featherweight”, and for the first time in that year, I felt a bit of peace.

All of this self-reflection is leading to one very important thing: they’re finally taking this album on the road. Starting June 27th in Salt Lake City, the Shore tour will see the band traverse across the U.S. at some truly incredible venues, including the recently-announced Salt Shed in Chicago and what’s sure to be a surreal experience at the Caverns in Pelham, TN. After the U.S. run, the band will dip over into the UK for a leg in the fall. Tickets go on sale February 18th — this is the band’s first tour since 2018, so I can imagine it will be a hot ticket. Check out the dates below and give their ‘A Lonely Solstice’ live session a listen to prepare.
