Will Joseph Cook drops original holiday tune “No Time To Be Alone”

Date:

We are nearly a month away from Christmas and all things merry and bright, which means new holiday music – and lots of it.  To celebrate this special time of year, our favorite artists enjoy remaking classic hits, putting their own spin on tradition.  There are also artists out there such as Will Joseph Cook who are busy tapping into new feelings and stories that just need to be acknowledged.  Building on this premise and carving out his place in the holiday music catalogue, Will gives us the sentimental “No Time To Be Alone.”

As the name implies, “No Time To Be Alone” is all about appreciating the comfort of being with one another during the holidays.  Accompanied by the slow and steady sounds of an acoustic guitar, Will takes a moment to acknowledge how much better the holidays are when not spent alone.  Tenderly, he sings, “You could stop the snow from falling on Christmas morning” and “December’s so much better with you here,” encouraging us to reach out to friends or family during this time.

The music video is simple and straightforward to go with the vibe of the track.  We see Will sitting with his guitar under glowing lights, as the night settles in around him.  Between the colorful spectacle of the lights and the sweet melodies of the music, a sense of togetherness comes through, reminding us to take a moment and reflect on the meaning of the season.  You can check it out below.

You can listen to “No Time To Be Alone” on platforms like Apple Music and Spotify.
