Peach Pit Announces New Album From 2 to 3 and 2022 Tour

Date:

Canadian indie-rockers Peach Pit had a poorly-timed 2020; they released their sophomore album You And Your Friends immediately before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, prohibiting them from doing any touring behind what was a fantastic album that further built out their trademark “soft” sound that’s won them fans all over the globe. After a few live sets this year at Firefly Music Festival and the northeast, the band has announced their new album with a new single and a massive 2022 tour.

From 2 to 3 is out on March 4th via RCA. Lead single “Look Out!” follows in the same vein as last month’s “Up Granville”, unveiling an acoustic-led track that’s pretty mellow in the best way. Lead singer Neil Smith shared the following about the new record:

‘From 2 to 3’ is a collection of songs that were written late at night, alone in a small apartment with a hushed voice so as not to wake anyone. We’re excited to be releasing one of our favorites from the record called ‘Look Out!’; it’s a nod to the apartments and neighborhoods where we wrote these songs, and to the corner store attendants that sold us junk on those late nights. The guys and I and our long-time collaborator Lester also went on a road trip this summer and filmed some videos that we really feel capture the spirit of the music perfectly.
