Claud Releases “Tommy” and Announces 2022 Tour

Date:

Claud has had a big 2021 with the release of their debut album Super Monster on Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records (and an incredible remix featuring Jesse and The Marías) appearances at festivals like Firefly, and a nationwide tour supporting Bleachers. Today, the talented singer-songwriter has released “Tommy”, their first new material since Super Monster, and announced a massive 2022 headlining tour.

“Tommy” exists in a similar space as the rest of Claud’s catalog, blending their dreamy, poppy sound with heartbreaking lyrics focusing on that all-too-familiar feeling of watching someone you love wish they were with someone else. As the chorus rolls around and they’re singing “When you say my name / It don’t hold the weight / Like it does when you talk about Tommy / Touch my body like I’m Tommy / Touch my body, pretend I’m Tommy”, your heart will melt just a little bit.

Watch the lyric video for “Tommy” below and grab tickets for Claud’s 2022 tour dates here.
