Ashnikko Brings Her Tentacles and DEMIDEVIL Tour to Chicago

Date:

We caught Ashnikko at the Chicago, IL stop on her debut headlining DEMIDEVIL tour, November 5th at Concord Music Hall with supporting act Chloe Moriondo.

Fans were dressed for the occasion despite the cold weather outside, with lots of glitter, spandex, and even blue wigs.

Detroit-based Chloe Moriondo opened the show to cheers from her many fans in the audience. Playing mostly songs off her second album “Blood Bunny” such as “GIRL ON TV” and the Jennifer’s Body inspired tune “I Eat Boys” she quickly won over the entire audience. Talented beyond belief, Moriondo’s set saw her switch between her multiple guitars and basses as she serenaded us with her unique blend of indie and pop-punk.

After much anticipation and shouts of “I want to see the tentacles!” from the audience, Ashnikko took the stage to the beat of her DJ Krystal Lake. Immediately commanding the stage, Ashnikko brought the energy with “Tantrum” and “Working Bitch.” Her set consisted of her many singles, as well as songs off of her debut album DEMIDEVIL.

Known for her genre-bending hip-hop and electric pop (as well as her blue hair), Ashnikko is a born performer. She commanded the stage the entire show, as she closed with “Maggots” and “Daisy.”

Ashnikko is a performer not to be missed, and you can catch her on the remaining dates of her DEMIDEVIL tour.
