Polo & Pan release romantic new single, “Les jolies choses”

Date:

A week before they release their sophomore album, Cyclorama, Polo & Pan have decided to give us one last single.  Until now, the French duo have dropped two solid dance tracks that show off their ingenuity as musicians and producers.  For their third single, however, Polo & Pan are slowing things down, taking time out to acknowledge the simple aspects of life.

With “Les jolies choses,” Polo & Pan take us on a quiet retreat.  The twosome effortlessly evoke a tropical oasis throughout the track, giving us acoustic guitar flourishes, the sounds of waves crashing onshore, and relaxed melodies.  As listeners take in the wistful French lyrics, they will surely drift away into their own paradise; the tranquil production is definitely a change for Polo & Pan, but still within their signature sound.

About the track, the duo mention that it is based on the “beautiful moments of a relationship set in the sandy dunes of Cap-Ferret,” which is located on the western coast of France.  Even if you have not been to France or Cap-Ferret, the track can easily be applied to any small getaway that you may have experienced, where all of what life has to offer came through.  You can listen to the track below.

You can check out “Les jolies choses” on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music, as well as Cyclorama, which will be released June 25.
