BANNERS//Toronto, ON.

Date:

On December 5th, Banners performed at the Opera House in Toronto, On.

Tilsen opened up the night. Her music was light and fun. She included the entire crowd in her performance. From sitting down and singing to individuals in  the crowd, to dancing and getting everyone moving, to even bringing a couple young fans up to join her. The performance was captivating, and it started the night perfectly.

The next performer was The Man Who. Every eye was on them as they performed their high energy set. The crowd was quiet to hear every note of their music, and went wild after each song was finished. Their music was exciting, and catchy. Both bands well prepared the crowd for the headliner.

The crowd went wild when Banners took the stage. His vocals, were raw, powerful, and beautiful. The crowd harmoniously sang with him as he played songs such as “Half Light”, “Where The Shadow Ends”and “Someone To You”, it was almost as if a large choir was singing with him and his band, these moments were chilling beautiful, and made the performance feel  very intimate. Completely opposite to this, his songs “Shine A Light”, and “Into The Storm” had the crowd dancing, and singing along. This show went from a beautiful acoustic intimate performance to a party. Every moment was engaging, and it was an amazing concert.
