It was a homecoming for the ages as Clairo (aka Claire Cottrill) made her return to Boston for two sold out nights at The Paradise Rock Club along with the amazing Hello Yello and Beabadoobee. Clairo, who originally grew up in Carlisle, MA knows a thing or two about the Paradise, so it was ever so special for her to have two sold out shows there. In fact in 2015 she mentioned how she saw the Arctic Monkeys and how she was stuck behind one of the infamous poles in the middle of the Paradise. It was an emotional night for Clairo as she tried to hold back the tears as she told the hometown crowd how much she appreciated them and all of their support. It was definitely a special night as the crowd was treated to twenty songs of which were from her debut album Immunity , as well as EP Diary 001 and a few other gems like “Sis”, “2 Hold U”, and “I Don’t Think I Can Do This Again” (by Mura Masa) which brought the energy as the closing song of the night. It was a bittersweet homecoming for Clairo getting to hear the crowd sing back all of the lyrics to every song in a venue close to her heart. It’s a time no one will soon forget. Clairo is quickly taking over the world and is a gem that you definitely don’t want to miss out on! Check out photos from the show below taken by Erin Crowley (@erincphotography).
Keep Up With Clairo!
