BTS Release New Version of “Make It Right” feat. Lauv

Date:

Name a more iconic octet.  I’ll wait.

In April, BTS released MAP OF THE SOUL:  PERSONA, which featured the track, “Make It Right.”  It might not have been the breakout hit of the album, but people are sure to notice the track now.

Teaming up with pop sensation, Lauv, the BTS boys have re-released the track, which was written by Mr. Ed Sheeran.  Lauv has a very prominent feature on the track, singing the first verse, the first refrain, the first pre-chorus, and the first chorus!  The rest of the track is the same as the original, with the same boys singing the same verses.  Of course, when something is already perfect to begin with, what more could be done to make it right?

BTS also dropped a music video for the track, which interjects scenes of the boys performing between scenes of an animated story.  The animated portions of the video focus on a boy who goes on a journey and ends up meeting a girl.  This girl ends up protecting the boy along the journey, indicative of the track’s lyrics.

You can check out the video below, as well as stream the track on sites like Spotify and Apple Music.
