LIVE PHOTOS: Tilian // Tampa, FL

Date:

Dance Gavin Dance clean vocalist Tilian is headlining his solo Skeptic Tour and they made a stop in Tampa FL at the Orpheum on August 14. Coming along for this tour is dark pop rock band RIVALS, I The Mighty front man Brent Walsh, and metalcore band The Plot In You Landon Tewers. Having seen most of these bands before I was excited to see the differences between the performance they produce with said band and their solo work.

Taking the stage first was RIVALS, since the 2015 release of their debut EP, Haunted/Hunted, the band has been making a mark in the scene and for good reason. The band was energetic, front-woman Kalie Wolfe dancing around on stage while the crowd sang back the lyrics to Moonlit. Taking RIVALS place was Brent Walsh, his solo work being much softer than I The Mighty he took the stage with his acoustic guitar and you couldn’t help but fall more in love with More Lucky Than This. By the time Landon Tewers came on the crowd was more pumped and ready, a person was bound and attached to the microphone, an edgy prop for sure. Landon performed numerous songs from his second album Withdrawals which was released back in July. Headliner Tilian was up next, showing off his dance moves he then sang his heart out and fans echoed the words back.
