Live Review: Zara Larsson’s Don’t Worry About Me Tour

Date:

With passion filled vocals and nonstop choreography, Zara Larsson’s Don’t Worry About Me Tour was everything we could have hoped for.

With an 8-stop tour across North America, the Swedish Megastar brought her Don’t Worry About Me Tour to D.C.’s 9:30 Club.

Welcomed with open arms and to a sold-out crowd, the 21 year old singer started the evening with her Clean Bandit hit, “Symphony.” Taking center stage dressed in white, Larsson’s clear and smooth vocals resonated throughout the venue. As fans cheered in excitement, the singer continued to hit her notes effortlessly while constantly interacting with the crowd. Transitioning into a fan favorite, “I Would Like,” Larsson upped the intensity as she dominated the stage with impressive choreography. Revealing that she’s the full pop star package, Larsson’s choreography was filled with hair flips, spins, and sass.

Aiming to release her third album late 2018-early 2019, the night featured several performances of past hits, newer releases such as “Ruin My Life,” “Don’t Worry Bout Me, ” and “Wow,” and even a performance of an unreleased single, “All The Time.” The setlist was made perfectly for both old and new fans of the astonishing pop star. Fans were constantly singing and dancing in hopes of returning the same energy Zara was displaying up on stage.

With amazing stage production and smooth transitions, the show truly was the best it could be. From the flashing white lights to the moody blues, everything was timed accordingly to what was going on stage. Zara’s unlimited energy was emphasized with the nonstop music. As one song would end, it would quickly transition to another keeping the energy level at an all time high.

There is no denying that Zara Larsson is the total package. With an infectious personality and an enormous amount of talent, Zara will instantly win you over. The young artist will leave you wanting more once the night is over. In the meanwhile, all we can do is wait and stan. More new music is set to release in the upcoming months, and hopefully we will Zara Larsson tour across America very soon.
