Ahead of the return of Live At Leeds on Saturday 4th May we thought we would take a closer look at the huge lineup and give you some of our recommendations of who to catch at this years event. The lineup for this year includes performances from headlining acts Sundara Karma, Tom Grennan and Metronomy but with a huge lineup of artist check out our event ones to watch.
#1 BAND: The Sherlocks
First up on our ones to watch list are The Sherlocks. Having toured with the likes of Liam Gallagher its safe to say this band have quickly made a name for themselves in the music industry. The local Yorkshire band will be sure to go down well with the Leeds crowds. Check out the music video for ‘Chasing Shadows’ below.

#2 BAND: Black Honey
Brighton band Black Honey are next up on our list. Having supported the likes of Royal Blood and Catfish and the Bottlemen on previous tours this band have quickly become known on the live music scene. With rock based guitar riffs, smooth vocals with an undertone of folk and western influence Black Honey’s music really does have something for everyone. Check out their track ‘I Only Hurt The Ones I Love’ from their self titles debut album release last year below.

#3 ARTIST: Sam Fender
Next up on our list is Sam Fender. It’s safe to say that Sam has had an incredible start to 2019 performing gigs up and down the country which looks set to continue as he is set to tour throughout Europe and the UK over the upcoming months. With a new album launch on the horizon fingers crossed we will be hearing some new tracks at Live At Leeds.

#4 ARTIST: Sam Tompkins
For something different at this years festival we recommend checking out Sam Tompkins. The 21 year singer from Eastbourne has taken the internet by storm in recent months with his busking videos going viral. The singers smooth vocals with an RnB twist are definitely something not to be missed.

#5 ARTIST: Orla Gartland
Finally on our list is the wonderful Orla Gartland. The Irish singer-songwriter is the perfect pop artist for Live At Leeds. Starting out by posting youtube originals and cover videos in 2011 Orla has built up a supportive fanbase over the years. Her new EP ‘why am i like this?’ is set for release this May. Check out her new music video for ‘Flatline’ below.
