NEW MUSIC VIDEO // SEVENTEEN: “GETTING CLOSER”

Date:

Seventeen, SVT, released a new music video, and it is FIRE.

As one of the larger Kpop groups, Seventeen consists of thirteen members and is divided into three subgroups. They are well-known for their involvement, as a self- producing group, in their choreography and discography.

Seventeen went dark and sinister with their new M/V; “Getting Closer” is the farthest thing from “Pretty U”, “Mansae”, and “Clap” as possible. Traditional Seventeen has produced fun, whimsical, and young vibes. I welcome this new grownup version of the group. Growing and exploring all sides to their creativity, Seventeen works the rap lines with power and fire. Beat drops, dance breaks, and power vocals explode as well as consume us. This is some of the best choreography I have seen from the group. They stay in sync throughout their acrobatic dancing. The subtle movements are eye-catching and seamless. Truly, this is my favorite Seventeen track.

Seventeen officially gave us what we did not even know we were missing. Heat.
