Travis Scott Releases New Album

On August 3rd, 2018, popular rapper Travis Scott released his 3rd full length album titled, ASTROWORLD.

The 17-song record is jam-packed with legendary artists and features many notable names such as Frank Ocean, Drake, and Stevie Wonder, just to name a few.

The name for the album was inspired by the Houston-based amusement park, Six Flags Astroworld, which was demolished in 2005. In an interview Scott did with GQ, he explained the impact of that event and how it shaped the album.

“That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”

This album is conceptually and instrumentally phenomenal, and it’s definitely one you don’t want to miss!
